School Uniform

At St John with St Mark CE Primary School we take pride in our uniform and always want our pupils to look smart and ready to learn.  Our uniform is smart, practical and popular and we place great emphasis on children wearing the full, correct uniform on a daily basis. 

Our uniform comprises of a purple sweatshirt/cardigan and a yellow polo shirt, which can be branded with the school logo or unbranded.  Grey/black trousers or skirt/pinafore, plain black, sensible shoes, plain dark socks/tights or leggings (if appropriate).

For branded items with the school logo such as; cardigans, sweatshirts and polo shirts, these can be purchased via Monkhouse Uniform either online (www.monkhouse.com) or from their outlet at 86 The Rock, Bury BL9 0PB (Telephone 0161 764 4320).  Alternatively, these items can be ordered online via www.myclothing.com.

School reading bags are available from the School Office, whilst other items are readily available at various local stores  and supermarkets.

When buying items of clothing, please spare a thought for our Early Years and Key Stage One teachers faced with the prospect of fastening shoe laces and doing up hundreds of buttons. We love Velcro!
